FAQ

I am being sued for an amount that is greater then my credit line, is that permissible?

Lines of credit serve to limit the amount you can spend on a credit or charge account.  However, that does not serve as a cap on the value you could ultimately owe to that creditor.  So as interest accrues and fees are applied to the balance due, the sum outstanding may ultimately exceed the value of your original line of credit.  Whatever that may total, the creditor will then entitled to collect that amount.
