If the suspension was administrative, issued by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles due to your failure to maintain appropriate insurance coverage at the time of the accident, and you were not convicted of driving under the influence (OVI) as a result, then the obligation can be Discharged in the Bankruptcy and your driving privileges reinstated.
However, if you were convicted of an OVI, then the obligation will not be Discharged, and so your license suspension will remain in effect until you have either worked-out an agreed payment plan in satisfaction of the balance due, pay the debt in full, or potentially opt to address the obligation via a Chapter 13 monthly payment plan.
Nonetheless, if the suspension was issued by Judge or Magistrate, a Bankruptcy cannot override that Order. So in those circumstances you are better served consulting with an attorney that practices criminal and traffic law determine your available options.
