What Documentation do I Have to Provide in Order to File a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy?

The documentation typically required in order to proceed with a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy may include all of the following as may be applicable to your particular circumstances:

(1)   The last two (2) years of Federal and State Tax Returns;

(2)   The last two (2) years of W-2s and/or 1099s; 

(3)   The last six (6) months of Pay Stubs;

(4)   The last six (6) months of Bank Account Statements;

(5)   Evidence of all of your debts in the form of Billing Statements, Collection Notices, Court Documentation and/or Credit Reports;

(6)   Motor vehicle Title or Memoranda of Title;  

(7)   Real property Deed;

(8)   Life Insurance Policies;

(9)   Retirement, Pension and/or Social Security Annual Statements;

(10)  Child and/or Spousal Support Order;

(11)  Decree of Divorce/Dissolution.
